Dr. Terry L. Drennan

As a Fort Worth native and esteemed dentist near Aledo, Dr. Drennan has been developing new smiles since 1979. Watching the changing world of dentistry evolve before his eyes, he is pleased to continue working alongside individuals who desire better oral health.

But long before he started Drennan Family Dentistry, he was a young man with a dream to work in the healthcare industry. Enrolling at Texas Christian University (TCU), he was encouraged to look into various fields. This is when he met many different doctors and dentists. After spending some more time learning about dentistry and its ability to change lives, he became excited about the idea of pursuing a career in oral healthcare. After all, it allowed him to work closely with patients and make transformational changes to their oral and overall health.

After graduating from TCU, he enrolled at the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio Health Science Center, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1979. From there, he returned to Fort Worth and eventually opened Drennan Family Dentistry.

Over the years, he has remained dedicated to continuing education and remains a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Fort Worth District Dental Society.

When he’s not busy taking care of his patients, you’ll likely find him and his wife, Paula, spending time with their blended family that includes two sons, two daughters, and plenty of grandchildren (11 total!). He also enjoys competitive sports, supporting the Horned Frogs, and working with upland bird dogs.

Dr. Jade Carlson

Alongside Dr. Drennan is Dr. Carlson. Joining the team in 2023, she serves as a valuable expert who possesses an eye for detail and a love for her patients. As a dentist near Aledo, she understands the challenges patients face when it comes to living with misaligned or even unhealthy smiles, which is why she makes it her mission to offer top-quality services to those in need.

As a child, she underwent orthodontic treatment with the help of an expander, braces, and oral surgery. Before entering high school, she had her mouth wired shut six times! All of this caused her to become more intrigued by oral healthcare and eventually, she decided that dentistry would be her future career.

After completing her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University, she went on to pursue her dental degree at the UT School of Dentistry at Houston. There, she served as part of the American Student Dental Association and as a member of Psi Omega. She was also inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which is a dental national honor society.

After graduating, she completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education of General Dentistry at OU College of Dentistry. Since that time, she has finished more than 500 hours of continuing education, furthering his skills and knowledge in cosmetic dentistry, oral sedation, implant placement & restoration, and more.

When she’s not busy helping patients at Drennan Family Dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as her dog, Tito. She also spends time working out, hiking, and enjoying the natural beauty surrounding the area. Dr. Carlson is also an avid fan of the TCU Horned Frogs and Texas A&M Aggies.

How much does a dental check-up & cleaning cost near Westover Hills?

The cost of a cleaning and checkup can vary on geography and other factors, like the dental health of the patient.
